There is an old saying which says that we eat to live, not live to eat. And I perfectly agree to that. Food is very important, as it ensures us necessary vitamins and proteins for living. But, if we exaggerate food and eating, we won't longer be health but we'll get sick and suffer from different diseases. A good nutrition is the key to a healthy life. It ensures the energy for a good function, activity and ensures a proper weight. It improves the immune system and helps us avoid diseases. There are people all over the world which have problems because of their bad food nutrition.

One of those problems is caused by insufficient food, or of a bad quality, which does not provide the enough vitamins and minerals to the body. There are many families that cannot provide quality food, which is why some do not eat healthy food for their nutrition. Other people suffer from depression, or a disease caused by another disease or medicine, for that they don't have the necessary appetite to eat. Other cannot chew because of some medical problems with teeth and gums, inside their mouth or neck that is why cannot eat enough so their body is well fed. Some feel full even before eating, so they eat no more and necessary substances do not reach the body and blood to ensure health and equilibrate nutrition. Others may suffer from an infection, which is why the nutritive substances are not absorbed by their bodies.

To be sure we eat correctly and ensure the best nutrition; there must be equilibrium between all we eat: proteins, fats and carbohydrates. To ensure this equilibrium, we must eat good food combinations, adequate to our effort and weight, to the moment of the day and of course, to how hungry we are. We must respect food pyramid, which teaches us how to combine food and how often we should eat an aliment. Some foods are excellent for our health; others must be eaten only at the special occasions, as they are not very good in big quantities for our health. The most important thing to be combined with right food association is water. Water must be drank whenever we feel thirsty or not, to provide the liquids for our body and the reactions inside it. To improve nutrition we should drink enough water, eat fruits, vegetables and cereals, avoid sugar, salt, alcohol and cigarettes, take vitamins whenever needed, go for long walks, laugh and enjoy your meals.
